New Book Proposes Simple Solutions to Global Problem
Tallevast, FL (PRWEB) June 21, 2008 -- Global Emergency Actions by Alan Wittbecker proposes a revolutionary idea of forming a "Eutopian" framework to solve world disasters.
There is a strong relationship between humans, society and the environment, suggests author Wittbecker in his provocative book, Global Emergency Actions. While today's environmental changes mean less natural resources and more pollution, Wittbecker points to how human life and culture has more than 50,000 years of practical experience adapting to change, and how this knowledge can be utilized to solve ecological challenges today.
In clear, informative prose, Wittbecker describes the calamities that can befall the earth and how individuals and communities can learn to recognize and respond to catastrophes, and then coordinate to provide the best emergency actions.
The framework, says Wittbecker, is called "Eutopias," and it can truly help save the planet. Eutopias, with clear mission statements and specific duties for all participants, can actually preserve what is good and useful in society, and avert further crisis. By collaborating, people can plan for growth limits with an ecological perspective. Eutopias can and will work, states Wittbecker, and in this profoundly important book, he shows readers how.
