John Buhrle Aims to Honor Iraqi Warriors, Veterans, and Military Medical Personnel with his Book, I.E.D - A Son's Journey to Iraq and Back

Pocatello, ID (PRWeb) January 29, 2007 -- I.E.D - A Son's Journey to Iraq and Back is a personal chronicle of the events that follow the serious injury of Anthony, a United States Marine. The book gives first hand insight into the military brotherhood, the impact of the injury on his family, the impressive support by the medical personnel, and the response by the community. It is a testimony of faith and a tribute to our warriors and veterans.

John Buhrle started I.E.D - A Son's Journey to Iraq and Back to help cope with the pain and fear he experienced with the notification of the attack on his son. He used his journal and the surrounding events to write a book to honor the people who cared for his son and to honor our veteran's sacrifice. He came to Lulu because he wanted to be in control of the publishing process and found Lulu's print-on-demand tools to be fast, easy and, most importantly, free. I.E.D: A Son's Journey to Iraq and Back is available for purchase at www.lulu.com, in a marketplace filled with other unique and wonderful surprises.

"Independent publishing and print-on-demand is the wave of the future," says John Buhrle. "The Lulu process allows me to get my work out there the way I want it. My book is much like Lulu itself -- it puts control of your destiny in your own hands."

About the Author
John Buhrle has no previous publishing experience. He is a mechanical engineer who was living a very average life when he was notified of the attack on his son. He wrote the book to honor our warriors and veterans.
